Comments and pins

marketer designer

Comments keep feedback beside the work it refers to. Open a saved design and expand Comments in the editor. If the design has not been saved yet, save it first so the comments have a design to belong to.

Leave feedback

Use the comment action in the editor to place a pin on an object or page, then write your note. A pin gives the next person a location to inspect instead of making them search through the whole design. You can also reply in an existing thread when the conversation concerns the same change.

The Comments panel opens on Unresolved threads. Switch to All, Resolved, or Mine to find an older discussion. Select a thread to jump to its page. Pins can be hidden with the pin button at the top of the panel without hiding the conversation itself.

Finish a thread

When the requested change is complete, mark the thread Resolved. It moves out of the Unresolved list and its pin leaves the canvas. Use the Resolved filter to read or reopen it later. If an object or page is deleted, its thread remains in the list, marked as no longer anchored, so feedback is not silently lost.

Comment access follows the design's sharing permissions. Someone who can only view may see the discussion without being able to add to it. To give a reviewer access, see inviting people. For a decision on the whole design, use review approvals.
