Using and managing plugins

Open Plugins in the editor menu, then choose Manage. The dialog has Installed, Browse, and Developer tabs. Browse shows plugins published to the catalog. An empty Browse tab means none are currently available to your workspace; it does not mean a tool is broken.

Install and run#

Choose Install on a catalog entry. Read the permission list in the confirmation panel before accepting. Installation is for the active workspace, so a teammate may also be able to use the plugin. Workspace permission rules determine who can install, enable, or remove it. If the dialog says an admin is required, ask a workspace owner or admin.

Installed plugins appear on the Installed tab. Use Run there or use a command the plugin adds to the Plugins menu. Disable a plugin to keep it installed but stop its commands from running. Uninstall it when the workspace no longer needs it.

The Developer tab loads a manifest URL in this browser for testing. It is separate from the published workspace catalog and does not install a tool for your teammates. Use it only with code you trust. See plugin permissions before granting access, or build a plugin to make your own.
